If your organisation employs five or more people, then you are required by law to carry out a fire risk assessment of your business premises and implement and maintain a fire management plan and record the findings. This includes shops, offices, restaurants, hotels, nurseries, care homes, churches and community centres.

We can assess your building and cover all aspects of creating a fire strategy and advising you on what you need in case of a fire. This will both help to prevent a fire but also enable our customers to deal with any incidents. We can draw up the full report to satisfy the Fire Officers requirements and offer you our professional advice on your building and its fire safety.

How often do I need an assessment?

Every 12 months after the original assessment is done a review should be carried out.

Every 5 years a new assessment should be conducted if the building’s purpose or layout has substantially changed.
